-- As we all know that the 2015 South Indian floods resulted from heavy rainfall during the annual northeast monsoon in November–December 2015 has hardly hit Tamil Nadu and the city of Chennai particularly where more than 500 people have died and over 1.8 million people have been displaced. Under such a crisis, Brahmakumaris
Disaster Management Team has come to the rescue of those who have lost their homes and have no place to go. Since last 1 week, we hare providing temporary shelter, food, water and medical aid to flood affected people in areas like Anna Nagar, Adyar, Ashok Nagar.Mambalam,Medavakkam,Saidapet,Jafferkhanpet, Ekaduthangal, K.K. Nagar, MGR Nagar ,T Nagar ,CIT Nagar, Seevaram, Elango Nagar and Ambal Nagar in Chennai. We are thankful to all those who have come forward to help flood affected people in Chennai. As on today, there is urgent need for medicines, the list of which is attached herewith. Those of you who wish to help can directly call our co-ordiantors in Chennai :
